Yeah they could have done much more with the back. Must be the same designers as the Merc A class, focus all their time on the front and do the back end late on a Friday afternoon.

I don't have a problem with the front or the back and the Trailhawk seems to be extremely capable off road and on the road too. Look at this Mopar modified Trailhawk that Jeep brought to the Moab Jeep Easter Safari... Love it!

See, then I fail to see the point of it over a normal Ranger 4x4 DC... but I'm one of those irritating customers who doesn't really care about looks
.. plus as an offroader, it shouldn't be flashy and all that, cos that is just an extra cost when the thing needs to be fixed after you've dinged it while buggering around offroad.

Price difference between it and the XLT is about R25k. For that you get exterior garnish, rain sensing wipers, dual zone climate control and (I think) a bigger nav/audio touch screen... Might be worth it for some.

Prices to follow, no date confirmed for that. But I expect its probably end of this week so give time to communicate and distribute official pamphlets etc to dealers.Kinda bummed the 2.4L will not be paired with the Trailhawk :/

Yes... I probably won't be able to afford it anyway, unfortunately. Will have to wait for the little Renegade Trailhawk.
Yeah that's probably the best compromise. I have been going on a long fantasy about having the Cherokee TH in my life. Even looked at 4x4 self drives in Botswana and Namibia, and skiing in Lesotho (even though you don't need a 4x4 for that)...not forgetting the countless car review videos I've watched about it on youtube :/

Subjectivity aside (as in, looks), would you prefer Jeep focus on models like the Compass / Patriot rather than ones that have offroad capability?
