If there is anyone capable of coming from behind to win it's Rossi. He has on the Honda before won after taking a fall and re-joining at the back of the pack. This is not a Honda though... He has what it takes that's for sure. It's all about the fight now. Going to make for an awesome race. He has nothing to lose as everyone has written him off now. I can promise you will will either finish in the top 3 or crash trying. ;)

I hope so.

Do you think there will be supporters of the cause on the track who will allow him to ease past them ? Sorry not sure of this was discussed earlier.

I think it won't be an issue until he gets up behind the likes of Iannone and Dovizioso on the Ducatis. He should have the speed to stroll past the lower placed riders. I'm not familiar with the circuit but if it's a nice long run down to the first corner, he could make up several places on the start alone.

I think this whole affair has put a serious stain on what has been an enthralling season. For it to be potentially decided like this is very disappointing. I say potentially, because anything is possible but if everyone keeps their noses clean, Rossi won't have enough time to catch and pass Lorenzo.

What does count in Rossi's favour is the resurgence of Dani Pedrosa. A 1 - 2 for Honda is a distinct possibility. Assuming Lorenzo finishes third, Rossi would only need to get up to sixth to take the title.

A second place for Lorenzo behind Marquez means that Rossi would need to be third (a much tougher prospect!).

VR46 just needs a few corners to find himself in top 8 according to the above times

Yeah, fair play to Honda - caught up to the Ducatis who seem to be king in a straight line this season.

And this is a very cool straight!

bout the circuit
The Circuito de la Comunitat Valenciana was completed in 1999 and held rounds of the MotoGP and Spanish Motorcycle Championships in the same year. The Cheste track has several layouts, running anti-clockwise with varying lengths. MotoGP events are held on a 4km track comprising of five right handed corners, eight left handers and a 650m straight. Although the track is regarded as quite small, the pit complex contains 48 garages whilst the stadium style grandstands can seat up to 150,000 spectators. The circuit layout which allows all parts of the circuit to be seen from any stand helps to create a unique atmosphere enjoyed by Spanish and international riders alike and as the last race of the season there is always a party feeling to the Grand Prix, which was voted best GP of 2005 by IRTA.

Contradicts itself. I think the 876m includes the straight after corner 1...

This is going to be the most epic race ever , it was meant to be ,its not as it seems , something/someone is pulling strings behind the curtain or else how do you explain the Chelsea fc situation ? or marc's crashes. its Illuminati.

Lol @ Petrucci...be less obvious, bro.

All fair passes so far...only Danilo let Rossi through.

Race stabilised now...Rossi can't make ground on Pedrosa in third, Lorenzo and Marquez clear of Pedrosa.
