Biathlon medallist Sturla Holm Laegreid admits cheating on girlfriend

Winter Olympics bronze medallist Sturla Holm Laegreid says on live TV that he made the "biggest mistake" by cheating on his girlfriend.

Norwegian biathlete Sturla Holm Laegreid confessed on live television to cheating on his girlfriend moments after winning bronze in the Winter Olympics.

The 28-year-old, who won his first individual Olympic medal in the 20km individual biathlon at Milan-Cortina, admitted he had an affair three months ago and called it "my biggest mistake".

Laegreid said it had been "the worst week of my life" since he told his girlfriend of six months about the affair.

"There's someone I wanted to share it with who might not be watching," he told NRK, Norway's state broadcaster., external

"Six months ago I met the love of my life - the most beautiful and kindest person in the world. Three months ago I made my biggest mistake and cheated on her.

"I had the gold medal in life, and I am sure there are many people who will see things differently, but I only have eyes for her.

"Sport has come second these last few days. Yes, I wish I could share this with her."

Watching some skeleton and wow, first time I think I've seen drones following them down the track in the sport. Amazing stuff!!!

Don't think they've used drones in skeleton/luge in 2022. I know they used drones in other events though.
 
Man, snowboard cross is fun to watch. Australia just got their 8th (i think) gold medal in Winter Olympics history.

Some more skeleton on live now. Would have been cool if the drones could follow and keep up with them from start to finish, but they can't :(

BBC 2 iPlayer was a bit taxed last night, their long ago found direct streams did much better (and of course don't ask for a TV license).

Presuming that most of the coverage will be on this channel - has the Olympics today from 11 am to midnight our time :cool:


Copy one of these as a text file but with a .m3u extension, use with VLC or other video players.
First one DOESN'T need a VPN or DNS controller.

Giant Slalom on now where there is a S.African. It's on the Olympic youtube channel and bbc 2. I've noticed they're not showing all skiers on the Olympic channel but they are showing everyone on bbc2.

The olympic channel sucks.

Edit: ok now bbc2 stopped showing it and switched to curling lol :rolleyes:
