384 line syncing at 4mb

hey guys,

quick question to see if anyone else is experiencing this. i have a 384 line, and I just downloaded a 30mb file from an international site and it downloaded at 100k/s. i was a bit confused because it wasn't a burst speed but constant so i checked my router and i saw i'm syncing at 4096kpbs. am i being stupid or something? shouldn't i be syncing at 384kbps???
my local bandwidth goes through openweb and my international through telkom, my international was running super fast for a while, it seems to have slowed down now but i am still synced at 4096 and my local is normal.
also i did a local speed test and my upload was higher than my download (for 384).
any thoughts or is it just a glitch in the matrix?

I think so. AFAIK the only difference is the setting on the port at the exchange.

Crossed my fingers and checked my router...DAMN!! Still synching at 384kbps. Oh well, hope springs eternal
