3D downloadable content

Everybody with a 3DTV must obtain Under the Sea 3D as soon as possible and thank me later.
 
Wow, I've downloaded some 3D content to my Mede8er 500X and my new LG 47" CINEMA 3D really works well displaying this - Its turn the centre of my lounge into a 3D arena and it feels as though I'm part of the action. I had to dodge a fish that could easily swallow me. You simply have to select the correct 3D setting matching the content. You can see the physical format by not selecting a 3D format when first playing the content. The selectable 3D content settings are:

1. 2D to 3D upscaling / conversion to turn normal 2D content into 3D on the fly. (No Flicker, bright 3D like picture for all content, HD content displays best in this format although it works for all resolutions, any viewing angle)
2. Side by Side (Seems to be the most popular - Two Pictures side by side, but squashed up when viewing normal - awesome when viewing 3D content in this format - it makes the two side by side pictures into one HD 3D picture, no flicker, crystal clear focus, bright, any viewing angle)
3. Top and Bottom (Haven't tried it yet - looking for content in this format)
4. Mesh format (Haven't tried it yet - looking for content in this format)
5. What looks like a "Shuddering" format (Haven't tried it yet - looking for content in this format)

Downloaded Thor and Avatar both in 3D.
Turned out it was in German, but my BD player has a language button so that I can switch to English.
Was awesome watching it.
Both in Full HD SBS

Watched on my Samsung UA46D6000 and HT-D5500K BD player.

Also have the IMAX 3D Under the Sea (I think thats the name) Best environment documentary I have ever seen. So clear and sooooo pwetty!!!
 
I haven't seen anything 3D yet, What the difference between disposable 3d classes @ cine and 3D glasses that requires recharging?

Cinema 3D does not flicker, is cheap and produces crisp HD 3D pictures. The others cost a bomb, flickers and supposedly produces a slightly better picture. It causes headaches as well and epileptic fits in some. Cinema 3D is the way to go.

All the 2011+ 3D TV's will have cinema3D if the latest firmware upgrade is done. That means it will then have FHD 3D certified firmware and that means full HD for each eye and thus not the same as what Fudzy linked.

Read the following links regards to the latest improvements on resolution for these LG 3D sets with the latest firmware.

A bit off topic, but LG say they licensed the Plex Client and all TVs from 2011 onwards will have this client installed.
Can you confirm if your TV (or anyone with a Cinema3D) has the Plex Client?
Plex is the deal breaker for me on my next TV.

you mean this?
I think its just all the SMART Cinema3D TV's that have it
I don't recall seeing any mention of it on my TV (I opted to not get a smart TV so that I could get a larger screen for a similar price)

If u don't have a TV with a LAN port, u can use a mede8er and access the content thru one of the HDMI ports. Simply change TV input to an HDMI port and press the PLAY button on the mede8er in stead of using the TVs remote.

I am already using steamers (WDTV). I am trying to get away from multiple devices.
I currently have my LG steaming via the built in DLNA client which negates the need for the WDTV on that TV, but I want the full experience that Plex gives - meaning a new model LG.
