ADSL account with local/international split billing

Nice offer... I dont always have the energy to explain to the rest of my house to switch to using Route Sentry etc. Might be a good option for a lot of people... Im still holding out for WebAfrica though... Just to see what their products will be so by next month I will most probably have a different setup than now... If not WebAfrica one of the other deals that has come along recently...

I think the day we, as a country, move away from local/international thinking, will be the day we will actually see development in the ICT arena. Till then, everything offered to circumvent the issue is just a facade. anyways, it is good to see ISP taking the initiative in the right direction.

What is wrong with Axxess--they are soooo slow on the uptake???

still we have two types, why are they still billing both wouldn't it be better just to bill onetime?

WebAfrica have done little--I'm still paying R70/GB.

I asked them several times over the years for such a product--they never listened.

R10 per GB for local traffcic, what the f**K???? No thanks, i will stick to my openweb 30gb for R130.

Nice one on being able to tell the difference between international and local traffic, its not hard at all.

Get with the program and move already?????????????????

Aaaaah, what I didn't see mentioned in the article, I see on their website:

...unused data will Roll Over

That could potentially give them a big advantage over guys like Afrihost, etc.

crikey. this is getting ridiculous.
a friend if mine asked me what connectivity he should buy last night.
i started drawing up a table, then i just sent him the broadband bible instead.
with all the disruption of smaller players in the market, i can see why regular users just want something with a familiar brand name.

I think this is an excellent offer. Pity I'm on uncapped and very happy, else I would have tried them. Just one question, using Seacom, do they have access to IS or SAIX news servers?

+1

Had a look at their site...hmm maybe I'll pass. Extremely strange site that, or maybe I'm just used to better layouts.

Firstly let Telkom reduce the price for ADSL line. That will be the cheapest compared to purchasing the data. Why should we pay for the ADSL line monthly? Its once off payment everywhere. Why is Telkom charging for the ADSL line on monthly basis? Is there any other means to get cheaper ADSL line?
