Afrihost ADSL price cuts and improved uncapped performance

I use 60gigs per month. At present I am on a 75gig 4mbs capped account = R 497.00
If I unbundle it will be R279 for the line plus R129 for 30g+30g = R 408.00
Something to consider...:whistle:

..and yes I saw what Afri-girl said. We are waiting on the bundled announcement.

In ClientZone if I choose to edit my existing 4GB package, it only lists 50GB for R199 and not the extra free data.

Do I have to sign-up for a new package to get this deal?

Do you have any idea how expensive guaranteed uncontented bandwidth would be? You are into the fibre pricing range there.
 
Was with Afrihost up until February, I thought I would give telkom ago again for my 4MB uncapped. Torrents during the day did improve with telkom from Afrihosts average of about 10Kb/s to 30Kb/s. Going to give web Africa a try with the 90+90GB for R299 capped account. If that is rubbish I will come back to Afrihost and see if I can get by with the 75+75GB capped account. Can do things like this as long as you don't have your ADSl line with the ISP.
 
36% (18GB) on my 50GB bundled account.
AfriHost needs to sort out the capped bundled pricing this month and get rid of this gimmicky bonus data story.
Everyone knows capped non-bundle customers are getting double data, so the bundled guys like myself are catching a little bit of a raw deal unless we get 100% bonus.
Then again, I shouldn't really be complaining cos it's still pretty good value and I've had quite a good experience with the quality thus far.

Still... AfriHost... I'm watching you.
