Oh my, you're deranged:erm:
Thanks for the support everyone - Really heartwarming to hear from our happy clients!
Unfortunately one of this life's laws is that you can never ever please everyone. I'm convinced that if we gave away ADSL for free with no catches there would still be people who'd be unhappy!
That said we definitely do stuff up occasionally and when we do, we do our best to fix the situation however we can.
Thanks again - We sincerely appreciate the support!
I am starting to suspect that other ISP's are deliberately using underhand tactics to undermine the credibility of Afrihost. It is as if they are being sabotaged through negative posts.
That is the perception I am getting.
Is anyone going to answer the thread starter's question, are other ISPs, I presume the ones listed by Gian, attempting to sabotage Afrihost ?
Comparative advertising now allowed in SA, since when ?
Comparative advertising...Come now, you can't be serious.
I'm all for comparative advertising, it's perfectly legal in the USA, but here in South Africa, listing your competitors faults in an attempt to promote your own company is not allowed.
Ok, well if you can find out exactly how much Gian paid for the advert you might have a case. You should look into suing rpm as well. He sold the advertising space after all.![]()
It wasn't an advertisement - it was a forum thread and a response to a comment made by you.
Thank you. I really didn't think I needed to point that out. Seems so obvious.
The law doesn't mention advertising as such, it's the fact hat you publish(post) information that puts your competitors in a bad light.
I asked Gian if there was any other way to pay for ADSL other than CC or direct debit, he said NO.
Oh, and good luck with the whole small claims court thing, it's not as easy as it sounds....
