This is a fairly common question. Can you maybe get someone technical from AH to give us some feedback?

Optimisations would involve us making sure that the traffic is going through the new link, making sure everything is running as it's supposed to.
Sorry, our team are quite busy so couldn't get an in-depth answer.

This is a standard procedure.
 
Nope, just seems general: facebook, steam web portion etc. Mybb is fine but any international site has a long loadtime.
 
My NNTP has not gone above 250kBps since 6PM Thursday.

2:07 AM Saturday, getting 230kBps.

Speedtest gives me my full 20mbps. Please can you fix this.

Now, I have NO connectivity ... ( albeit AH have confirmed the line fault )

I have been having problems since last night setting up my iPhone using the iCloud restore and it turns out its due to Afrihost. The restore takes 45 minutes or so and then simply fails and due to all the WIFI problems experienced with IOS 8 I assumed it had something to do with that. This morning due to horrible lag while playing Diablo I switched to my backup WebAfrica account and all of a sudden my restore worked perfectly in a matter of minutes.

I have been extremely patient with all the problems experienced on the Afrihost accounts as of late but enough is finally enough and I will be taking my business elsewhere. I just wish I had realized where the problem was before the 25th and not on the 25th.
 
17 hours and only 7GB Downloaded.

20Mb VDSL Business uncapped.

I thought JHB had capacity upgrades in place.

Can confirm my nntp is also maxing at 250kB odd. Tried on capped as well. Same result. Paid news server. Oh well. Just 5 days left of this.
