I am not sure, in most cases they would just do a line stabilisation, did you use the Fix my Line at all?

Thanks for the Traceroutes to Youtube, they are helping significantly.

No I did not do any fix or recreate port recently. When I do I normally use the Recreate port, but most of the time it actually fails. After I realized that the line speed was down I wanted to use test my line in client zone to see if it syncs lower, but it kept failing.

Might want to keep an eye on that 3rd hop

Seeing your tracert actually makes me think this might be a general international access problem. Thinking about it I did notice my Android updates taking much longer to download than normal.

Curious... Are you seeing a drop in any other throughput?

And there YouTube is running at full speed again, with no buffering.

There may or may not have been some changes to make sure Youtube runs smoothly. :)

Just a quick heads-up, with regards to the Traceroutes for Google services that all go to the UK, our routing does not currently go to the local Google caching servers, but rather to the servers in the UK, however, when you actually access the services from your browser, the Google applications should automatically resolve themselves to the local Google cache.

We are updating the routing soon as well, so then the traceroutes will be very similar to the Telkom ones.

Afri-X, I sent a PM to your collective. My account is currently dead (DSL light is green, internet light is red - no connection). Happened a few hours ago! If you guys can have a look that would be much appreciated!

It literally just keeps getting worse and worse... The worst part is it's completely unpredictable. It was fine for the previous match, then I try one immediately after and suddenly it's a ****storm.

And it's definitely only Afrihost... I'm the only one in my group with Afrihost and I'm the only one suffering these severe cases of packet loss.

YouTube is going great guns again - hoozahs! :D

Awesome. Some of teams tests were still a little short of what we'd like, so we're going to keep working on this until we are completely satisfied :)

Definitely doesn't look good from this report, but I really would need to see which stages of your routing you're getting the packet loss, if it's on our network we'll need to see where. If it's not, we'll need to see if we are able to log a ticket if it's a network we peer with.
