Both your first hop to the router and your second hop are much higher than they should be. I would look at the first hop first though. 10-16ms is way too high, even over WiFi. I would switch off WiFi and test on a single device via LAN cable. Also, check that no devices are running updates, downloads or background services while the tests are running.
At least your Afrihost account is working well. I can't comment on your other ISPs performance, but at least you can always switch to us to get a better experience
Not at all, Business is guaranteed unshaped and unthrottled at all time. The only form of shaping is a voluntary setting called Business Optimisation, which you can activate to keep your network clear of torrents, etc, which are shaped very aggressively. This is great for offices or homes with rebellious teenagers

Absolutely not. You can download to your heart's content and never worry about being throttled, shaped or have to abide by an "Acceptable Use Policy" to keep your speeds up (you can download as many Linux distros via BitTorrent as you'd like) -- just disable "business optimisation".

Looks like we're allocating Google's secondary DNS to load balance our secondary cluster. There shouldn't be any difference around performance though.
Except that the ping to 8.8.4.4 is 209ms for me :/ it doesn't make much of a difference after the DNS cache has been saved, but first requests can take a little longer -- especially annoying when browsing websites with images hosted on other servers where the DNS has to find more IP addresses. Difference is still negligible for the most part -- speeds are, of course, just the same.

I've tested using this several times. 196.7.7.7 & 196.7.8.9 always come out on top.
The response times may be a little higher, but falling back to secondary doesn't always happen - and there is stacks of Google caching available too

If hav switched off Wifi for this test and only have my laptop connected to the router. No updates are running. The Traceroute looks much better but my download speed is still horrible. I now have a fault logged with Telkom.

What do your adsl stats in your router settings look like? (sorry if I missed it in an earlier post, but I can't seem to see any from you).

Anyone tried COD AW on their AH accounts? Want to figure out if the problem starts with the online gaming mode or if the ISP is not up to it. Only on a 2mb account

Your latency after your router should always be at least under 30ms but generally around 10ms. This would indicate to me that there could be mild congestion on your exchange or that there is a line fault causing latency

It works well for me testing on Playstation, but I couldn't say personally whether it works on other platforms. From client's feedback I do believe that it does though.

Thanks. Will just check again. Could not get any games working on it
Test your general connection stats first, so we can compare if the issues is specific to games or overall.
