I have been getting some really bad packet loss today and yesterday in League of Legends. Is anyone else getting the same?
 
My internet is dying on me all of a sudden. 500+ms latency, slow speed and the connection drops after a minute or so.

Same this side. Ping shows a constant 220ms (which is higher than the usual 170 I get), but had a LOT of packet loss the last few evenings.

Same here... friend on WebAfrica and I were playing MP online.... both of us dropped out... not just Afrihost... something must be up....

It's a bit better after a few router reboots. Connection isn't dropping and it has throughput, but latency is crazy.
 
Also having problems here in Cape Town, lost connection about 20 min ago and my speed has dropped to 50kb/s on a 2mb line and ping is at 500ms (normally 11-20ms)

Hi guys

We're aware of the issues, it looks to be only affecting the South IPC region - so CPT and surrounds. Our team are working on a fix.
 
Lets hope this gets fixed soon

Yesterday we had no power for 11 hours and now this, might as well pack up, build a hut and sit.
 
Getting around 0.4Mbps with my 8Mbps connection, and very high latency. Hope this doesn't go on for too long.
 
And your network status says everything is just peeerfect.... Go figure... Liars!!!

I don't think anyone is lying to you. This issue has been present only very recently - we need to weigh up what's going on and update form there.
 
Well I am in JHB but my LoL experience is still terrible. Any reasons for that?

What's there to weigh up? You have a problem - post it on your web site so that your customers knows about it! I guess it's too much to be honest...
