So Cape people must just lump it or cancel?
The South should be OK at the moment.
Just remember that we're working on overall improvements too.

I can see a change of routing but the browsing ping is still high on MTN.The South should be OK at the moment.

Sorry, I'm confused again. You said "The South should be OK at the moment."There shouldn't be any changes around routing from what I know.
Again, high pings may be around until we implement the improvements.
Sorry, I'm confused again. You said "The South should be OK at the moment."
Now you mention high pings remaining.
The high pings indicate things are not OK.
Has there been an issue with torrent downloading?
And usenet services stopped working again. Still full speed on any other service
We've got a few Users reporting similar issues... We're investigating now, this could be linked to the poor throughput that was reported earlier today.
Poor ADSL Speed (North Region) [High Impact] 11:42, 22 Jun 2015
We are receiving reports of poor internet speed and high latency in our North network (Gauteng and surrounding areas). Our network engineers are investigating the possible cause and we hope to have this resolved as quickly as possible. We sincerely apologise to affected clients for any inconvenience this may cause or the poor internet service they may be experiencing.
So.......any update on this?
There does appear to be some improvement in the North, but there may still be some drops in speeds and latencies for the moment.

I can only imagine how frustrating it must be!
We're really pushing hard to get the network upgrades in place as quickly as possible.
Please tell me I am not alone:
Can't stream anything, p2p maxing out at 20 kbps, websites take ages to load, google play store updates are slow as hell (10 minutes for 5 mb update), speedtests using ookla says "network communication error", etc.
