I didn't expect to get my way at all. Can I log a call for this request to be presented to your directors then?
Surely if someone is unsatisfied with one of your products, there are ways to discuss this?
I'm not looking for a reward. I just want my monies worth. I don't mind paying for a lesser package, but I do mind paying for an expensive deal and not receiving the proper product.
I definitely can't make a decision like that, it would be something for you to raise with accounts. Or hop over to the the thread Gian started and ask him directly. I definitely do give our directors all the feedback I can as well.

So trying to understand Gain's post, it sounds like Afrihost will no longer be using the MTN Network for DSL and rather their own?

We can't give all the technical details but we will be moving over to a new network experience, which will be much more under our direct control.
They should be sorted now, but the engineers are still monitoring to make sure all it 100%. My youtube pings are looking good. Tested a couple of 720p streams, look pretty amazing.
Still struggling a bit on my side. While download torrent, 480p youtube has to buffer.

It generally would, depending on your line speed and how much bandwidth your torrents are pulling.
Also remember that torrents are bout data transfer, it's also the number of threads established pulling data, which affects all kinds of stuff

Torrents downloading at around 350kbps. I've got 6mbps line. Surely shouldn't see 480p struggle.
Will keep testing to see whether things improve.
I can't stream youtube even on 360p on a 20mbps business VDSL account without buffering and tommorow is the day I need to decide if I will be moving all of my Business VDSL accounts + the accounts of other companies I manage over to a new ISP. Things were great last week for a couple of days but seems the s$=*t has hit the fan again. Gian promised a new system in 2 weeks but honestly how can any company expect for their clients to wait that long when they pay for something they are not simply getting.

Normally close to 18mbps down with under 10ms ping. But even at 10.1Mbps i would expect to atleast be able to watch youtube at a decent RES without buffering....

Started a clip now and it buffered at 144p.
No other services using any bandwidth on the network here. Router also restarted prior to this test
Let's eliminate the torrents from the equation so we can be sure that YouTube is working on it's own
Looks like we're seeing a bit of latency rise in the North, but the South should be seeing good latency right now.
What are you seeing on your side?
