Started a clip now and it buffered at 144p.

No other services using any bandwidth on the network here. Router also restarted prior to this test

Pings look good and definitely hitting local cache. Any idea what kind of throughput you're getting?

I can't stream youtube even on 360p on a 20mbps business VDSL account without buffering :( and tommorow is the day I need to decide if I will be moving all of my Business VDSL accounts + the accounts of other companies I manage over to a new ISP. Things were great last week for a couple of days but seems the s$=*t has hit the fan again. Gian promised a new system in 2 weeks but honestly how can any company expect for their clients to wait that long when they pay for something they are not simply getting.

Definitely odd. Running a few tests on my side. YouTube seems pretty normal. Will test some more on my side as well :(

Looks like we're seeing a bit of latency rise in the North, but the South should be seeing good latency right now.

What are you seeing on your side?

My latency is definitely not good atm.

My latency is definitely not good atm.

Looks like you're still getting that weird routing like when the node was down. We haven't received confirmation that all is 100% yet, but seems to be testing well mostly. Let's wait for the A-OK from MTN.

Still getting crazy latency to my Minecraft server when moving around:

on IS backbone its buttery smooth, traceroute doesn't seem to be showing any problems tho.

With nothing else downloading. Youtube streaming at 720p is fine. 1080p has to buffer.

Though as soon as I download anything torrent or direct download even if downloads are slow (torrent currently downloading at 50kbps but can't stream even at 480p). This never use to happen before.

Seems like the official word is that there is still an issue on the Google Cache node, though mine seems to have gotten a whole lot better since around 5-6pm today. I guess we'll need to get the confirmation that all is sorted before we can properly troubleshoot :(

Almost non existant speeds
Speeds average between 13Kbps and 56 Kbps

Looks like the problem may not be fully resolved, but at least we know what it is and MTN are on it right now.

Once it's confirmed fixed, we should be able to troubleshoot better.

Guessing this will only be tomorrow then?

Really great service, I really feel like I am getting my moneys worth, I don't need a 8Mb Business uncapped "unshaped" line, this will do just fine. Thanks again! Keep up the good work, I am glad you guys are working hard to improve your network, well done it's really paying off.

Does this affect the youtube app on android as well?

Because I can't even watch a 480p video on my 4Mbit line.

My download speeds are fine, youtube is abysmal though....
EDIT - spoke too soon, speeds are horrendous as well, seems as though it's not stable at all, jumps all over the place when viewing stats for nerds on youtube...

Sorry about this :( I'm confident we'll be seeing improvements all around soon.

It is a pretty weird one, I was testing a few things on my line last night - everything flies but Google services battle :(
We're working on a fix, I'm sure it'll be patched up today.
