There have been issues with Windows Updated and the Afrihost network for months, I keep on reporting this and nothing changes. I eventually went to a friend and downloaded the iso in 30mins.

Just want to check, this is on your @afrihost account and not Afrigreen hey?
Gonna have to bring out the old skool DC++ skillz to test ;)
 
Latency 300ms+ to local sites this morning on Vanilla Account.

AfriGreen dead this end, can't access any sites on it, but Skype and Torrents work :whistle:

Are you not able to authenticate at all on Afrigreen?
I believe latency on your old account is due to a Telkom/ MTN fault that's still open.

If it is due to the Telkom/MTN fault then it has spread to Durban & Pietermartizburg as well, Friend in Durban says he is also seeing 300ms+ latency, and someone I know in PMB is also seeing the same high latency.
Afrihost always blames Telkom first!

AfriGreen connected websites are dead, email, Skype, Torrents and everything else is working.

EDIT: I can not believe my Fault has not been fixed, it is now 9 Months and counting!

And I believe a good work around, judging by your mostly positive feedback about Afrigreen, has seen the latency issues resolved.
Please PM me your Afrigreen DSL username so I can see if I can spot any issues there.

Yip, standard account DC++ is dead as the picture shows.

We aren't running any changes on the current network, not sure where routing changes would come in?

Exactly how the hell am I supposed to do ANYTHING with this level of packet loss?
