That latency certainly is not good... Does your latency look similar on your Afrigreen account?

Everything is dead at the moment. Even TeamViewer died... So can't check on the servers I need to check on :(

Sorry to hear that, Francois. I see you've posted on the POC thread that you are cancelling. I just want to say that we should see our full production network go live within the month, so hopefully when you experience the internet on the full new network, you will change your mind. You can un-cancel in ClientZone at any time if you do :)

Thanks, just upped my line with AH to a 4MB, but money talks at this stage. And getting a cheaper service that works is priority now. Will be sorry to go, but two years with AH and the unreliably is an issue that is costing me money.

Totally understand. As I mentioned, you will only cancel at the end of the month anyway, so we'll use this a chance to really up our game and meet your expectations. One thing I can't promise is a price drop just yet, but I think we can expect some things to change in that regard once we've settled into the new network and measured the financial benefit we can pass directly onto clients.

Well we will see. Things were great with AH, but not getting what I need is a problem. I hate wasting money and at this stage AH is costing me a lot of money, and that money is just dumped, cause no service can't be paid for.

If I want to invoice a client, the I have to make sure that I give perfect service and attention. If I screw up, it's my head and ass on the line

Fully understandable.
We'll continue to do our best to improve the network going forward.

So on normal Afrihost I get massive packet loss on LoL. Switch to Afrigreen and I get massive latency spikes into the thousands constantly.

There really is no winning with you guys huh?

That shouldn't be the case, we're not seeing any general latency on AfriGreen, though throughput on some serviceshas been poor at specific times when demand is high.

Any tests that I can take a look at?

Hi AfriPeeps,

Any reason why I am getting 50% of my line speed right now on my 10Mbps Business account? Frustrating.
Regards.

Hi Tomas, that doesn't sound cool at all! :( Do you currently have an Afrigreen account to compare speeds with? Either way, please send me a PM with your details in order for me to have a look. :)

Have stopped using green due to the horrific latency and poor speed I've been getting.

Red is frankly disgusting. Google searches are taking about 20s to resolve.

These results are terrible.
Not seeing this amount of latency being reported on monitoring though, wonder if something else is happening here, maybe weird routing.

Where is that 2nd traceroute going to?
