So after trying a port reset on client zone, I got an error message and lost connection, struggled to contact support because my phone signal is so bad, and have been waiting a while now with only a automated response received. YNC-644-17569 pls afriman can you help.

Yeah, those functions havent worked in my client zone for a while (3 months). Have been having issues of my own this evening too. Lost connection at about 19:00, and my Business account is still unable to connect. Switched to WA account and all is fine - go figure :(

AfriGuy is looking into it for me, but so far cannot see anything wrong on his side :(

Had this same issue not very long ago, my connection drops atleast once every 3 days or so, usually dns issues but it's only the 2nd time I haven't been able to reconnect.

Still no response from support, going on 2 hours now.

I see that one of our consultants has responded to the ticket now (sorry to have gotten to this so late). I see he has logged a Telkom fault, so we should see what Telkom have to say and if they can resolve this.

Back up again... YAY... now I can let my downloads run ;)
My joy only lasted the night...

I have once again been cut off... and cannot connect via my AH Business account - ALL other ISP accounts I have (MWEB, VOX, WA, Telkom) are working.

AfriGuy was looking into this last night, but after saying he couldn't see anything wrong, I have heard nothing. I am weary of logging a ticket, as in the past it has taken ages for a response/resolution, and have had over 10 people respond and ask me to do the same tests (over and over) that do not resolve the issue.

Any suggestions? I am currently on my VOX account, which connected first time without any resets, clearing of DNS cache. This is definitely an MTN issue, as yesterday I could not access anything on WA's network (and neither could my clients who use AH data accounts with WA email).

PS. My Axxess free account has similar issues (also MTN).

These continual requests for tests and then no further action is starting to really piss me off. Why cant they admit to issues and then we can move on?

Any problems at the moment with the network? Can't get more than 4m speeds on my 10m line. Never mind, phoned Telkom to reset port and it seems fine again. Luckily the quake here in Orkney did not knock out my internets!

We are receiving reports of client unable to authenticate new sessions on our broadband network, including DSL and Mobile Data. Our network engineers are currently investigating with MTN to determine the cause of this. Some clients may be unable to connect to the internet due to this problem. Client who are already connected should remain connected, and we encourage not to reboot their routers until the problem has been resolved. We sincerely apologise to affected clients for the inconvenience.

YIP... but it doesn't help those that have no other account to change to. All the clients that I moved over to AH to save them money, have now had to be ALL placed onto MY Web Africa and Vox accounts, just so that they can continue to work.

Very frustrating - been fielding calls from clients, and also calling all clients to preempt down-time. E I S H :(

The tests don't go unlooked.
I see AfriMan escalated your query earlier today.

Glad your speeds are back up to normal :)
