WTF is happening. I cant even browse now, browsing is extremely slow and sometimes pages just time out. Never mind stream Hulu. This is on my Business Account.

Downloads are 100%

The was a problem we identified on our side with policies which should be rectified now. As you move data you should be restored to the correct policy. Otherwise, you could reboot your router and re-establish your connection.

Afriman...just got off the phone with tech support yet again.

Rosebank @ 2.2Mb/s
Durban / Capetown @ 1.7Mb/s
International @ 300kb/s

On my 40Mb/s business....WTF?

I cannot have a awesome experience one day and the next I cannot even download files I need for work. Here I thought this issue was resolved.

Policies for what, streaming?

At this point in time I have just had it.

@ Afriman - I would like to request a credit for the month of August as I can not deal with these slow speeds and issues. Not to mention streaming.

I would like to cancel my DSL package with immediate effect.

Can you please look into this.

Any update on my issues, why do I have to continually beg for support? I email critical care no response, I pm, don't always get a response, really? Support tab on client zone shows no feedback. Support ticket AED-218-67547

PS 666 posts hopefully someone takes note :)

I have responded to every single one of your PMs. As I mentioned, I've asked that you receive an update, but I also think it's between yourself and the person dealing with your query to set realistic expectations around feedback and resolution.

The problem of this morning was resolved within a hour or two max, but otherwise we are still looking into individual reports of poor streaming.

You can chat to me via PM regarding your account, I'm sure we can find a reasonable solution. Really sorry to hear that you have decided to cancel though, hopefully we can resolve this.

Policies that basically manage the data pools and policies affecting services like shaping and rate limits, etc. Seems like something went wrong there. We've fixed the problem, but we're still investigating the source :(

As you are one of the company reps on this forum, and my emails to critical care seem to go unnoticed, and this is a complaint I have had since September 2013, I think by now this issue should have been resolved? You are currently my only contact point.

How much longer or how patient am I supposed to be.

Who can I email or phone higher up on the food chain so I can complain about this issue?

I don't think this is a question of authority or rank, I think it's important that when you deal with the representative, we have a clear understanding of what your expectations are and what the agent or representative is going to deliver. That should be an agreement made up front to avoid this kind of frustration.

Well I requested daily feedback, which once again has not happened, It cannot take that long to log on with the details I supplied and see what is happening. I think its actually better to rather cancel, its going to cost me more, but I cannot take this continual frustration any longer, unless it gets sorted before the end of the month, which from past experience has not been the case.

I think daily feedback is maybe not realistic, but if that's what was explicitly agreed, then I won't debate that. If we agree to it, then we should deliver on that.

Well that was the agreement, and all Kyle had to do was log on with my details, which I sent and try to play a video, this should take 10mins. I have actually contacted dstv, to find out if anyone has logged on recently, to see if Afrihsot has actually used the information I sent.

I'm sure all the critical care team have multiple queries that they work on and have to balance, but again, if he said he would get back to you within 24 hours, then that should have been what happened and I'm sorry if it was not :(

Southern Suburbs Cape Town as well. Business ADSL bandwidth has been in the toilet all week. Websites timeout immediately, international throughput disappears, general speed is cr@p. One moment a site loads, the next you get an instant timeout. Streaming is bad, buffers constantly. Strangely, though, downloads are fine at run at full line speed.

Why Why Why?

I know there was quite a widespread issues on the Clareinch exchange, affecting most of the Southern Suburbs in CPT.
Do you have a traceroute that I can look at? Maybe we can determine where the issues are coming in.

It's not just that exchange... I'm in Sunningdale and experiencing the same issues for almost 2 weeks.
...and garp is correct - international throughput sucks, to say the least. Only way to get decent speed is to flood the line with multiple connections to an overseas server. This morning, and most of today, I have not been able to get more than 60KB/s off my VPS in US (SSH/SFTP). Other ISP accounts are working, as usual.

Traceroutes do not show anything abnormal, except for hop 3 onto the MTN network :(

The Clareinch exchange is down the road from me, and yes this week has been terrible, high latency and very slow download speeds, many disconnects, for the moment all is fine, but who knows for how long.

Could you please elaborate on this? Could this possibly have affected streaming? I've moved from business uncapped so I can't check for myself.
