It's better now though, called Afrihost and they did something...

A fault has been opened with my line though and I'm waiting on Telkom to show up...

Glad it's better. The trace seems to show it may be more line or exchange related, but let's see what Telkom say about this :(

Chatting to one of our Dev guys and we are looking into this. Could be a problem on our side. I'll let you know as soon as I know more.

I'm having the same problem. 10MB capped account. its currently running at less than 1MB. Upload seems fine though.

Ditto! The same thing here... upload is just under or over 1Mbs, download hovers around 1Mbs, if lucky ... yet AH CZ sync is listed at 5Mbs, modem says close to 8.

Same thing here as well:. It did go away for 24 hours but now back in full force :( This is a 40mb line.

Please try rebooting your router, this should help correct the policy that you're on when you reconnect :(

No problems for me.

Only thing is I'm still having streaming issues with TwitchTV.

Are torrents suddenly shaped on capped accounts?
Getting miserable speeds

Please reboot your router. We've seen some Business and Capped accounts misclassified this morning but a reboot should resolve, if the system doesn't automatically reclassify you as you move data.

Didn't help

I'm experiencing this for a 2 weeks now. Hulu, Netflix and YouTube are also a pain at the moment. Buffering feast....

I think we should do more tests on this. This morning's problem was a classification problem, so throughput was affected.

Is the problem related to throughput or latency?

Do guys make changes after hours and not test, or why does this happen?

I did reboot when I experienced the issue last night. Made no difference. It was not just throttled, but there was some packet issues also. Will test again tonight.

Today was the worst I've had it, couldn't hold a stream for longer than a couple seconds and my text based email taking over a few minutes to load. Have rebooted and I think it's a little better now. What is causing this? I asked a question a few posts earlier but no reply.

I assume it is coincidence but since the authentication issue yesterday my line drops sync every few minutes. Any chance this is AH/Mtn related?

I have logged a fault with Telkom but of course it can take a week or more for them to come out.

Throughput is the issue... latency seems fine.

I have an open ticket in my Client Zone from a week or so ago, and I get a response today wanting SAIX speedtests... again... and the AH helpdesk person seemed happy that according to her stats my line is syncing at 6.1Mbs now. It was 4Mbs this morning, 7Mbs at lunchtime and probably will change again before tomorrow morning.
