As you can see AH is not having issues :p

Sorry for spamming this thread, but maybe the more I post the quicker someone will fix the issue.

NNTP speed comparisons (same servers):

This after I talked a friend into joining up this month. He's not a happy camper at the moment.

If only they would admit there is a issue.
Things go wrong.
We understand but don't say nothing's wrong when there clearly is.

I see a few posts here (also on Business) about slow throughput. From what I can see, there was a period of very high demand around the time of the posts. When people in the Business thread starting posting things were normal, it looks to me like demand tapered off. This seemed to be especially in the South last night.

I'm sorry you're having this poor experience. We definitely don't think that there isn't a problem - it's the opposite. We know what the problem is, but there just isn't much that we can do until Telkom deliver the IPC upgrade we ordered.

Ai. I think the AH support team still needs some training.

I received this reply from support regarding my speed issues during the slow 6pm - 11pm period (as others have also noted).

Also note that I sent Speedtest results showing my line performing at full speed with another ISP.

I have checked your line today and i could see that its syncing below 5Mbps hence the speeds your are getting.

We have reported a fault to Telkom and they will rectify the issue.

Thank you for your support.

So either the agent responded to the wrong ticket or it's just an excuse to blame Telkom. Needless to say I have replied to the ticket asking them to PLEASE not report any faults to Telkom.

As I expected though it's very doubtful customer support can do anything about this so I'll guess I'll just live with the crap speeds.

Speeds seem to be much better this morning. Running almost full speed. Checking remotely from work.
Hopefully speeds will stay this way , as I only need it at night or weekends.
