Afrihost does NOT cap Top-Up Gigs

Firstly , Why the hell do you get Pro-Rata Gigs for the month. If I sign up on the 25th on a 2Gig package - why do I not get my FULL 2 gigs. WTF ?

So I got capped and bought a 1gig Top-Up. So on 1 Nov they tell me I dl'd 1.5Gig over my Top-Up amount!!!!!! WTH !!!

"Our system caps every hour" - so lets count 17h00 18h00 19h00 ....23h59 No cap.

This is totally un-acceptable - tantamount to fraud.

I've heard somewhere on these fourms that Afrihost are having some problems with their systems - that hard capping is not working properly. I'm not sure though.

Is their an Afrihost rep on the forums who can help out here?

Hopefully they can provide some clarity and continue offering excellent service coupled with excellent packages.

Hi ... they also count their cap of 5 GB as 5000MB and not 5120MB. Still cheap though.

My 1GB prepaid is counted as 1024MB...
