Afrihost Mobile Delivery Feedback Thread

Eish - i saw the email about my order but didnt go and check the tracking. I was still expecting this next week only. But delivery is expected tomorrow.

Need to get my rica docs asap.
 
Collivery X Status is : Delivery Driver Dispatched
Requested delivery before 16:00 on 26 August
Estimated time of delivery is 10:35 on 26 August
Driver is currently 1.2 Km from delivery point.

I will eat my hat :0 if they deliver today.
 
MTN fixed-wire (ADSL) network = good

MTN 3G cellular network = not reliable...

Most of the peeps in the office is also sitting with some variation of the 2-liner above but also 26/27 August estimated delivery. Although only like two people in the office have a full 4-line status:

Collivery X Status is : Delivery Driver Dispatched
Requested delivery before 16:00 on 26 August
Estimated time of delivery is 16:55 on 26 August
Driver is currently 2.57 Km from delivery point.

I'm suspecting the other ~8 of us will have to wait a wee bit longer.

I have been with mtn for about 3-5 months and so far can't complain with our tower

haha sad part is one guy could have dropped them all of at the same time :D

I've noticed that the following happens: You've got a great tower, and a crappy tower (in terms of signal)... but unfortunately, sometimes when you're connected to the crappy tower, it ignores the good one, and visa versa... so you're stuck with either or until it decides to check for a good tower again.

In our case probably not as each dude put up an address where eg. their spouse/mom/deceased brother would be more likely to be at a fixed location for this whole period. Only like 3 in total being delivered here - of those 3 we have 1 showing "Delivery will be before 16:00 on 27 August", another that suddenly changed from "Delivery will be before 16:00 on 26 August" to just "Collivery X Status is : Processing Order" and mine that is still pending at afrihost still - waiting payment verification.

I just called MDS they said anything from today to next Monday. But then again I am in the bondoes

Mine went from 26Aug 4pm to 26 aug 4pm + processing to just processing now :/
