Just as long as I can get a tracking number from MDS. I'm 4km from them. I can just as well go an pick it up from them & save them the hassle. :p
 
After not being delivered on Friday as promised, the latest is this for me
Collivery Status is : Delivery Driver Dispatched
Requested delivery before 16:00 on 02 September
Estimated time of delivery is 11:18 on 02 September
Driver is currently 0.03 Km from delivery point.

The plan is to get those that pre-ordered their goodies by Friday. Hold on :)
 
Eish ... I just checked the coverage map and see that MTN only has 2G coverage in Bishopscourt, Cape Town.

Those of you that are expecting a delivery from Afrihost:

we have close to 10 000 of them to deliver by 6th September.
we have received nearly 2000 requests to change the delivery address.
we are experiencing serious delays/failures as a result of people not having their RICA docs ready.
We ask for your patience and understanding - your delivery will get to you before the 6th as originally promised.

You can probably thank people who block the installation of more towers.
 
My order is still on "Processing" for the past 9 days. Gave MDS a call and they told me the same thing, no detail on the order. But did mention I should receive it this week and an email will be sent out

Still waiting for that unique special email with tracking number etc. Nothing has changed on my clientzone since Friday. Handed over to courier and stops there :) They should have giving me a tracking number to keep track where my parcel is :)

I am patient :P
 
How did delivery work? As I understand they will mail you to tell you that the courier has been dispatched. I cannot be at the delivery address anymore for the whole day (planning two weeks ahead as a consultant can be tricky), so I will drive out to wait for the courier. How accurate are their delivery times?

Side note: Did Colivery remove their number from the site or am I just missing it?

They email you in the morning to let you know they will dispatch the driver.

From my experience he will most likely not make it to you place on that day or at the time the indicate. I received dispatch notifications every day last week. I only got my parcel on friday.

I have gotten that email all of last week every morning. So far, no MiFi device. IMO their delivery times are so useless there's no point even trying to plan anything around them.

According to their super accurate tracking service the courier is 0.03km away from my destination, since 8am this morning. Maybe I should go looking around the office park lol

They will notify you when they are about to deliver your package. Most people were complaining that the time was not correct, i.e. If they said they would deliver at 10am, it sometimes didn't happen. The issue sometimes is that the couriers has 5 mins to make the deliver but they need to wait for the person to come out of a meeting, wait for the documents, 5 mins turns into 20, which delays the other people's deliveries.
Hopefully this will improve this week.

@ Afri reps. What is the turn around time for delivery on the sim only deals starting tomorrow? Our office will be closed Thursday and Friday for the Jewish holidays so I need to know what to put as my address?
