That makes sense actually. I think that might actually be one of the reasons. I think I might be a bit unreasonably irritated with the company lol

Ola Afrigirl,

I see RICA is an issue. I've orded one for my mom in my Afrihost clientzone. The listed recipient is her but the account is obviously in my name.

When the driver pitches for RICA docs, will my mom's ones suffice or must I pre-RICA via email? (I'm in Caope ~ she's in PTA).

Clientzone is inaccurate when it states handed over to the courier that probably means the courier guys collected the batch container/pallet probably bubble wrapped. Remember each parcel/package they pack has a WayBill number by the form of a sticker probably, highly doubt a sleeve ) but the delivery company send a courtesy reminder to check if all the details they have on their system is correct and probably they not supplying the wayBill number but delivering instead now.

If the communication passed onto me on social network is correct I should have my parcel later on today but will keep you posted IF that happens but not crossing my fingers cause highly doubt it's possible.
 
I just got handed my device by reception lady, went to look for delivery guys BUT they where already gone.

They didnt take copies of my docs for Rica??

I think Afrihost should postpone the launch of their other mobile products until such time all pre order deliveries have been finalised. My Rica docs have been in order & ready since day one.
 
At Afriguy,

The courier's left without me handing them my copies for RICA, can I just get copies certified by a Commissioner of Oaths and have them stamp it and then email to someone?

Haven't contacted them yet. I'm not in a hurry to get it and if it's here before the 6th as promised then all is well. The way that the deliveries have been processed just seems very erratic, I know it was a ton of them but you would think that there being so many deliveries that a system would have been in place to ensure those who ordered first would receive theirs first.

I have a funny feeling though that it's probably not going to get here before Friday, they can prove me wrong though.
 
I am still sitting on handed to courier. I hope it gets here by Friday morning, only working until 12.

This is a bit strange, the couriers should have requested the documentation. I'd suggest giving them a shout to see if they can do the RICA verifications with you.
