Where? Using afrihost on ios7 on iPhone 5 with hotspot uses my afrihost data. Just changed the main APN.

This was mentioned on the FAQ(Afrihost - website) the iOS is programmed that way I think and changes have to be made.

Under cellular data network, where you changed the main apn, scroll all the way to the bottom. Change the apn for personal hotspot.

hmm, yeah found it and changed. The weird thing is mine was still myMTN but never used my MTN data. I check my MTN balance almost religiously everyday to make sure it's still using the Afrihost one, as the iPhone has a tendency to reset back to the original APN after a reboot.
I was, for the last month on a daily basis using it as a hotspot for 2 devices including letting one of them do an IOS 7 upgrade. Guess i was just lucky it went through the Afrihost APN even though the hotspot apn was different.

They forgot to take into account that some of the 083 / 073 numbers in their database have ported to other networks

Actually it's a subliminal effort to get us all back onto MTN
IT's not subliminal, we think moving to MTN to get cheap data from us is a GREAT idea
