Afrihost New Network Feedback - Part 2

Also having streaming issues, Netflix stops every now and then. :-( First month back on Afrihost after year or two...

Relax guys, my Telkom account is just as ***. Someone unplugged the internet again. Possibly those Telkom saboteurs at it again.....
 
What do you need? trace routes on Afrihost and other ISPs look somewhat identical in terms of ping. The issue is when I start a stream, the stream doesn't work above low.

When I'm in a game, I'm getting packet loss on afrihost.

When I download something on psn it goes at 4mbps instead of the 18mbps that it should, other ISPs don't have this issue in all cases, so the conclusion I've came to is it's afrihost that is the problem.

Was experiencing similar issues yesterday in the Jo'burg region ..... gaming was a nightmare with packet loss rampant and torrent downloads became virtually non existent.

Eventually I turned my router and PC off and went to bed :o

Checked this morning and all seemed to be OK again ........ was thinking that being month end y/day, maybe AH ran out of bandwidth and applied drastic measures to all its clients to limit usage :D
 
im okay again on my line, but bloody hell its frustrating when it becomes a monthly thing with Telkom and its infrastructure.

This morning we are all at work to pay for our evening entertainment, which failed us last night. I don't care what it looks like this morning, I care about what it looks like tonight.
 
WRT data rollover, I'm pretty sure I had in excess of 20GB left on my account for August, but none has rolled over to September, and the clientzone also won't let me go back into August, is this normal for the 1st of the month?

Didn't see any general issues in the South last night - if you do see problems creep in this evening please grab a speedtests along with the traceroute and have the details pasted here :)
