I have a similar query pending.
I think it is an error in the calculation in that when Data is Doubled the Useage gets Doubled too.
Now that adds up, mathematically speaking. Nice catch!

Just to compare against last night, as mentioned during the day there is absolutely no issues to stream what so ever, But come 18H30 onwards then things fall over for some of us.

Mind testing the same videos again tonight so we can see the throughput differences?
Are you pulling from the same source each time?

Afriguy, any news on the east coast? No access to AH at all, router light red. Pings over 1700ms.

Sure I can. What do you mean with "pulling from the same source each time"?

Sure, these are the same 3 as from last night.
Showing the difference in how they performed last night against during the day.

What IP are you pulling content from?

Currently it seems from 169.1.2.76
Image PID Address Send (B/sec) Receive (B/sec) Total (B/sec)
chrome.exe 1832 169-1-2-76.ip.afrihost.co.za 7*430 0 7*430

The remote port looks like 443 with 21-23ms latency

Thanks, looks good :)
Grab some tests to see if it's the same IP, latency and throughput levels if you see issues again.

I assume you're using our DNS servers?

As of recently been really happy with streaming.
Good job and keep up the good work AH.

I hope everyone will be able to get their issues sorted out.

There seems to be a discrepancy between the amount of data the client portal says I've used and the amount of data the downloaded csv file says I've used.

Client zone says I've used 95.18 GB + 364.20 GB Free-Time Data which would be 459.38gb in total.
The spreadsheet says I've only used 284046.34 mb (or 277.4 gb if you assume there are 1024mb in a gb). While not exact this number is closer to free time data minus peak data.

Free-time reports double for whatever reason, so divide that by 2.

Tell me more? is that an issue? BTW i noticed this, because on my Android media player under ethernet settings, i can see the DNS and noticed that it shows something like 10.0.0.5

You have to log into your router and see what the DNS ip's are.

Will do.
Yes using the ISP Auto Assigned DNS's
169.1.1.1 / 169.1.1.10
