Afrihost New Network Feedback - Part 2

By-By Afrihost ADSL !
Fibre is running - day and night!
My ADSL line was not fixed for 1 month and fibre was installed in 1 week time from the ordering day.
All calls and emails to AFROHOST support and "AfriFriends" on this forum was only lost time.
Everybody was asking for the "traceroute" - can somebody explain to me what relation it had to
line attenuation dropped from 24 to 41dB?
So ADSL is cancelled anf Fibre is running . . . .

And sadness that you are leaving us! :(

The upgrade to FTTH is definitely a worthwhile one!

I changed to AH DNS, and still have the same issue, especially with IOS apps. Hay Day, Clash Royale for example, take much longer than usual to connect, sometimes not at all, and then gameplay can be very sluggish. If you have ever played Clash Royale you will realize this is not a good thing...
 
Anyone else having trouble with Steam downloads? I'm getting 25-40kbps download speed. Also my speedtest shows 4.03mbps on an 8meg line & capped account, for a local ping. 100+100gb capped account, auto dns

Quotes self.

Seems to be fairly heavy packet loss on the line causing this. I can't find how to reset the line in Clientzone? I get Test my Line but no Nuke option?

We've had to temporarily drop the Test my Line and Fix my Line, if you PM me your DSL line number I'll get that done for you quickly.
