Fast line problems! And I'm still stuck with 4Mbps ADSL. How long more till at least 20Mbps fibre is entry level?

I doubt that we'll see 20Mbps become the norm for a long time. There was talk of making 4mbps the lowest line speed, but then we went back to 1Mbps. I think the national infrastructure will cost so much to overhaul, it's more feasible to just roll out fibre everywhere.

Seems like most people are seeing good latency, and we didn't get reports of problems this weekend. I see a few other people confirmed they not seeing this :(
 
Just wanted to come here to thank the Ariguys for their hard work and patience with me when I lost my temper with the whole situation.

I cancelled my DSL yesterday, seeing as there is no light for me at the end of the congestion tunnel. I had my Skyfi installed on Friday, and I am only sorry that I didn't do it earlier. I average 27mb/s down and 8mb/s up on a 20mb link. :)
