It's something we're looking at, this isn't specifically our network but rather some strangeness on routing between links well outside of our control.
Time to rethink your international providers, because in plain English, they suck.
Inconsistent, Packet Loss, Latency issues & traffic that takes scenic routes.
Local Traffic on the other hand is perfect. Never have problems, Only traffic that passes through the 172.18.1.162 hop seems to be a problem constantly...
We won't be able to give you an ETR on your line fix, the second we hear anything we'll be in touch though![]()
I hope so, really getting frustrated here, every other day these problems reoccur. Getting tired of it now.The issue isn't with our providers specifically, but rather routing between various providers well outside of our network.

This is becoming a constant occurrence, International is terrible on Afrihost, been this way for months.
It would seem the only solution is to cancel and go somewhere else?
That is quite a scenic route! KZN, Johannesburg, Cape Town, Lisbon, London.
It is no wonder my IP phone has been struggling with a measly 64kbit/s voice call.
