Afriman is not obligated to respond too people here. This is only an extension to their support system. Just go create a ticket. Stop crying out publicly as if you are entitled for your voice to be heard.

Waiting 3 month not to fix tickets not answers on Weekends phone support weekends from 9 to 15:00 great support
 
How much you get pay from Afrihost

SO this thread has now been almost totally destroyed, and we have just had a string of posts about personal attacks.

So what do you do? Do you really believe your comment adds any value to this thread at this point in time?

You cast unfounded aspersions about an AH client giving credit, one I might add that has had his fair share of bad service of late.

Its attitude like that, that doesnt sit well with me dude. I have not said a bad word towards you, and yet you come out like that.

Do you think that is right now? I know previously i had spoken well to you, showing my trace routes to see where differences are happening, and trying to help, so im absolutely amazed by this now.

Yes I am entitled and will carry on doing it. The same as what you are doing.

all good pal, im not too fazed right now. Just shocked that he said that. Ive also been struggling. Ive had technicians out almost once or twice every month for the last 6 or 7 months, and pretty frustrated.

It appears that there are some who are intent on insulting those who have limited or no issues.
I for one appreciate this thread and the value it adds as the representation from Afrihost.

Bad enough that reps are no longer active appears some disgruntleds are hell bent on pushing things to thread closure.
 
No i can not handle every 1 hr Posting i have no problem and i proof he is using a other Pop in Cape Town as we having Problems

I think the mod should temporary close this thread until AH reps are ready to come back again as this thread is going no where.
 
Just because the AH reps have abandoned ship does not mean the thread serves no purpose as AH users can still report on issues they are having with the new network.

It's only fair potential new AH clients have a place to see what real-life experiences are like before they commit their hard earned money.

for example - several AH clients (all in CPT but connected to different exchanges) are again experiencing slow internet today.
When connected to a different ISP they are able to obtain full line speed.

There you go - constructive feedback on current issue on the "New network" :-)
 
Just a random question. Why do people still stay with AH if they received bad service from them. It's not like AH is the only ISP in South Africa.

I am happy with AH but if I was having poor performance I'd leave. Not sit and cry over how many months my internet has been poor blah blah.
 
OK. Scanning through the thread, seems like nothing has changed? Still the same stress around AH. Pity, need a new ISP for a new line after moving and was hoping things have improved.

I do see some agitation re discussion and abuse. Some appear stressed that Afriman seems to have disappeared after being abused. I don't understand the stress though. If AH customer service was good then you don't need a rep on a thread to fix problems surely. Just give support a tinkle.

So has Afrihost officially abandoned myBB?

If the network is faulty what did they expect?
Everyone to just keep quite and say nothing?
Many of us posted tests a number of times, opened tickets with 'Critical Care' which lead nowhere.

If Afrihost had rather come clean and admitted to the problems I do not think they would have been racked over coals.
But Afrihost constantly denied any network issues, while many posted tests proving it was the Afrihost network at fault.

Things seem to have improved, but I still notice problems at Random times, so something has been done, but is not full-proof.
