AfriGenie is there any update on the afriplus double data issue?

I also had slow internet last night on some services like I said on the previous page.

Could you give me a list of tests I need to do tonight when it starts acting out again? I tried to cover everything in the line troubleshooting on the site. It definitely was limited on certain services because youtube and gaming were running perfectly at the same time of day.

Can you please PM me your Username and I'll check what's going on.

In terms of troubleshooting, we usually just need a speedtest, a traceroute to afrihost.com and / or the site or service that you are experiencing poor speeds on.

It will also help us a lot to know what your DNS is currently set to on the modem.

Just got kicked out of CSGO during a ranked match saying a stable connection to the VAC system cant be maintained...sigh

Browsing feels very slow.

Sorry to hear that, Rickster. :( Not seeing any general issues on the network. Mind PMing me your details and I'll run some fixes on your account?

Averaging between 80-180kbps on Source quality and buffering constantly.

DNS used: Google, but I had the same results with afrihost's

Torrents are running fine for now but I think that's because there isn't network strain yet.

My afriplus double data still isn't activated on my account either. The rep I spoke to during lunch said it was resolved but it's still not reflecting the double data on my capped account in clientzone.

I know this was mentioned, but would you mind sending comparative results using Auto DNS?

Please PM me your username and I'll take a look at your data allocation. :)

Ok, so STO looks a bit better for now, but still shoots up to over 2000ms when changing maps.

Thanks for your nicely detailed tests. :) Your exchange doesn't seem to be the culprit here... What DNS settings are you using?
