AfriGenie, what are the DNS settings for Cape Town?

I've always let my router auto detect and I see it uses 169.1.1.10 and 169.1.1.3

There are a few DNS Servers that we rotate through, those that your router was assigned is perfect. :)

speeds are not that great this afternoon for downloading and browsing it is up and down

Oh? Any speedtests? What sort of speeds are you getting? What type of DSL account are you on? What is your DSL line speed?

Speeds today are insane. Going from 4Mbs DSL to Gbe is quite a game changer. Thanks Afrihost!

Hmm, anyone else seeing issues when downloading steam games?
No matter the region I select it is very unstable and ends up averaging 200KB/s +/-

There were some issues last night, but those should have been resolved by now. Have you reset your modem since last night? How are your other downloads looking?

Ya I did reset. Everything else is fine.

I don’t have anything else to download at the moment, so will test steam again tomorrow, if it still has issues I'll talk to CC.

Thanks... Please let me know if there is any change.
