Drop in throughput, I wasn't home the entire afternoon and just returned, but it's still the same,. It seams my line is dropping to below 1 MB download and sometimes completely.
Download Speed: 1437 kbps (179.6 KB/sec transfer rate)
Upload Speed: 678 kbps (84.8 KB/sec transfer rate)
Latency: 44 ms
This on a 8 MB line, the actual line stats on the modem is normal, syncing at just over 8 MB down and around 750 Kb up.

Your ping to bras is showing some latency. Looks like congestion.![]()
whats happening people? Telkom were by me today, but still dont know what the issue is. My line randomly drops, but according to them all is fine.
Anybody have any alternative ISPs they can recommend? Looking for about 200-300gb of capped data. Dont care much for the uncapped times.
Ive been trying to tell them this for ages now. Tech says no noise, but another tech says there is some metallic noise. Bit frustrating, as it works reasonably well, but just the line drops are a pain.Hmmm... From what I've seen on your line there is definitely an SNR issue.Did you look at your line stats with the tech?
Why is no packet loss in the morning my ping to bras is the same as last night
