Are you seeing problems with Twitch in general or is it specific Channels?

Where are you running that traceroute from?

I'm never able to stream from Twitch at a higher speed than 3Mbps, on my 20Mbps line - but alas, this is not an Afrihost specific problem.

Only came across this thread now. Wow someone else has my problem? Also live in Cape Town, also have a 20mb line, also can only do 3mb/high at best on twitch with it. In which part of Cape Town do you live? What type of router you got?

*EDIT On second thought I should probably take this to a PM. Its not a Afrihost only problem. Sorry guys.

Twitch has never worked flawlessly on any of the networks. Ive seen many complaints on the other isp threads as well.

Out of interest, is there no alternative to Twitch?

Yup I noted that its not an AH only problem.

I've tried everything to fix it, VPN, different pc, different isp, different browser, livestreamer/tardsplaya/vixing's chrome extension. You name it I've tried it. Can't ever get it to use more than 3mb.
