Just received this, and I have never visited the site in question, checked my logs on the firewall and no packets have passed to the IP address listed?

Our records reflect that you are the contact person for the ADSL user [email protected]. There has been a complaint involving traffic sent by this ADSL user. We understand this to be evidence of a breach of our Acceptable Use Policy (AUP).

The complaint specifies the following details:
ADSL IP address : 169.XXX.XXX.XXX
Apparent time of incident : 2017-01-13 14:02:16 SAST
Classification of complaint : ddos

My previous tests were done at 23:00

Are you seeing problems with Twitch in general or is it specific Channels?

As you can see on from my post a while ago that it's every channel.
I hope you can understand my frustration, your turn around in response time is almost a two days.

It's very hard to pinpoint your issue as Twitch appears to be generally running well when it gets tested by us... Have you worked with our Critical Care Team regarding this issue before?
 
Telkom came to my house today. I explained the issue to them and they said oky, they are going to go and replace something at the exchange (think she said MSAN?). It hasn't changed a damn thing though.

I'm still sitting with over 2000 ms latency at this moment. Fantastic.
 
AH, when you sent a mail out to capped clients that they would only be shaped as a last resort i didn't realize that meant every night between 6pm - 10pm.

Like clockwork at 6 my line drops from 15-16Mbps to between 5-8Mbps.

If you over sold your capacity please advertise these capped accounts as shaped between those hours rather than trying to pull the wool over people's eyes.

Been going on for MONTHS on uncapped accounts, and STILL ongoing. Been complaining as far back as October already if I'm not mistaken. They simply don't give a rats ass. Perfect example of a company growing to big to care.
 
Ok this fking shaping on a capped account is now just BS, i cant download anything at 50k/s

Started around the first week of Jan
