Nvidia driver download is being shaped to just under 500KB/s on a unshaped capped account. :wtf:

Its not just twitch its all streaming. Even my steam downloads are being shaped. This network went to S#@t as soon as the moblile packages started

Youtube is streaming flawlessly at 1080 for me. It's just torrents that are shocking... 0.x kb/s is a bit slow. Currently showing 44 weeks to do a 2.5gb file which is is already at 71%

My steam downloads start and then stop until timing out.

AH started to go downhill for me from the 1st with the new packages.

WTF is going on! I can't play "The Division" because I'm constantly lagging! AH! Sort your shiyte out man! I'm sick of this - it's a EVERY DAY thing!

This is hectic, not a single person in the last few comments are happy. What happened to afrihost?

Experiencing streaming issues tonight as well. Really terrible, videos won't buffer - Durban area.

Unshaped capped account being shaped to death again tonight!

Torrent speeds on WebAfrica capped account on the left, AH on the right.

False advertising to sell your product as unshaped capped data then to shape on certain protocols.

And, back to normal speeds as soon as everyone goes to sleep. Amazing how services can be shaped to virtually non-existing service levels and us poor users just have to fork out and cough up at the end of the month...

AH is yet again, out of capacity - it's really as simple as that. There can be no other reason to shape a service to THIS level, EACH AND EVERY SINGLE DAY!

I've cancelled my capped account, CrystalWeb and WebAfrica capped accounts both flawless compared to AH during testing this week, especially during the evenings when AH goes tits up.

Not waiting around for more of this BS.

This is my last month with Afrihost - I'm sick of how they constantly blame "the user" for issues - everytime I tell them I'm having issues, the "support" say it's my PC or the games I'm playing yet as soon as I change accounts to ANYTHING but Afrihost, I don't have problems.

Last night, around 9pm to 11pm I was CONSTANTLY getting disconnected while playing "The Division" and at 11pm I changed over my WebAfrica count and bam, no issues at all, no lag issues, nothing.

This while running a ping test constantly - with AH, It would peak to 200ms + but with WebAfrica it would sit nicely at 30ms to an occasional 50ms here and there - no REQUEST TIMED OUT, no 200ms peaks.

Phew... and of cause, the "blame the user" excuse comes out.

I've pointed them to this thread - maybe we ALL have latency on our lines... LOL... Whatever!

It's really not helpful to use multiple platforms to troubleshoot the same issue. If you're getting assistance on Twitter, then work with that team. You're only going to make things more complicated by running multiple conversations with different people :(

We definitely do not shape any services on Unshaped Capped. It's the same unshaped product we have always offered. There could be other reasons for services performing poorly. If it's on our side it would be that overall demand is that high, but we don't actively shape any product that is advertised as unshaped.

We should really do some proper troubleshooting to determine the cause here. From the tests you posted, overall throughput is slow. In terms of shaping, speedtests should remain perfect and only certain services would appear slower, so it's definitely not anything to do with shaping.
