I sent a PM to AfriGenie, but have not received a reply. Just want to find out before the end of the day, so I can make my decision.
I'm currently on a VDSL 20Mbps + 200GB Unshaped bundle. Over the last month or so I've built up some unused data. If I now decide to downgrade to VDSL 20Mbps + 20GB bundle, what happens to my built up data? Does it stay as it was?
Afrigenie I sent you a PM, thanks.
I'll ask our CC Team to do this for you ASAP.![]()
If Free-Time is ending, are any changes being made to the shaped/unshaped capped system?
Well, if it is expensive for AH to get additional capacity, and AH obviously trying to save money for itself, why dont AH gives us some serious discount for January or February, as in FACT we are paying for aggressively shaped internet with unreliable latency as a cherry on top?
Still nothing, it's 16h15 now.
Update on this? Seriously, requested since Friday morning. You managed to drop my sync to 6 Mbps on the same day, why does it take 4 days to put me back on 10 Mbps?

I've asked the Critical Care Team to update me as quickly as possible.
Called in, the call center guy did a port reset, it didn't do anything. He wants to log a fault.
I wouldn't recommend that, I think it's best to leave the request with Critical Care, the Support requests may interfere with what they are doing.
If it takes more than 4 days, what do you suggest I should do? /gesticulates wildly into the air.
And? You were supposedly already pushing them for an update ASAP:![]()
It shouldn't take that long at all. I'm pushing them for an update ASAP.

Please pass this on to the relevant team... Afrihost clients really want the shaped capped system to fall away. We hate it. We specifically loved Afrihost for keeping capped accounts unshaped. With Free time falling away, please change capped to unshaped completely.
I'm hoping the relevant team takes interest that this is what clients want and offers it. Plus it puts you one up from mweb, Web Africa, etc.
