Won't make a difference, the 1GB free account sites on the same profile as other Capped accounts.

I've used 1GB capped test accounts from other ISPs and there was definitely a difference between the quality of these accounts and the production accounts. Would it hurt to provide the man with another proper account?

I am blamed for not being civil and not willing to do tests which I find amusing, but Afrihost has done nothing to help me. I was told my test results would be sent to the network guys, I create a support ticket they even seem confused about what type of account I have and I get asked to do the same tests again, its like I am chasing my tail, or may be that's the aim. I have found a problem, maybe not everyone has it, but I have found something, they don't admit to it, not even admit that there might be a configuration issue on their side.

Has anyone even checked this?

I don't like their attitude, it like you complain and you are the enemy and time will be continually wasted denying there is an issue.

If I was in your position I would run a quick test with that 1GB account. If it does not make a difference try and get another proper Afrihost capped account to test. If they don't want to do this and you are certain another ISP account works I would seriously recommend jumping ship. Life's too short man! Your time is better spent on other things.

Take it offline, please. Use the PM functionality.

Don't read this if it bothers you then. This is a public forum. This guy has been struggling for days to get his stuff sorted. His frustration is understandable.

I'm afraid other providers go against what this thread is designed for, there are the mods rules.

Mod_note: These threads are clearly designed/intended for customers to provide feedback to their respective ISPs - not for disgruntled former customers to vent, not for other ISPs to promote their services, etc - and, one hopes, for the relevant ISP to respond.

There is a thread called "The truth about OpenWeb". I suggest we move these comments to a similar new thread titled "The truth about Afrihost". Happy?

No other provider has tried to promote their products in your thread, ironically they have been trying to assist you, as they have done before... even in this very thread.

Interesting development, a kind Afrihost client gave me his account details. I used them and the torrent I have been having issues with downloaded almost immediately. I deleted the torrent, logged onto my account again, and it sits. So please explain this?

As a side question for those who have been following this saga, have I not been doing everything I have been asked to do? Has anyone seen anyone from Afrihost offer to do any tests form their side to see if my account has any configuration issues on their side, maybe I missed something.

Your actions have been above board and your frustrations are understandable.
