Going through 332 pages on this thread is a bit much, so I'll ask...

Is there anyone who's tested the stability of the Afrihost connection, after their upgrade, while doing online gaming?

I see a lot of speedtest.net, YouTube and line speed posts. While it's good to see, there seems to be a lack of evidence that pings to international servers have improved as well.

While I don't expect ridiculously low latencies, I'd like to at least know that the connection is stable at around 200ms or less to EU West servers.

Can anyone verify this for me please?

Does seem like a lot when you just want a simple answer :)

Best would be to try us out for yourself, we offer a 1GB free capped account http://www.afrihost.com/microsites/freegb/

I signed up for a trial account which was verified just now.

I'll test it :)

Here's to hoping for the best!
Don't forget you get midnight data with that 1GB account as well :)

if it works well for you, then Check my signature. Free advertising for me lol ;)

@Afriguy, im currently on a 2mb biz account. Can I just switch to a 4mb premium uncapped account? Should I unbundle first? How long will a switch like that take?

Of course you can :)
Shouldn't need to un-bundle first, ClientZone will confirm all the details though.

Torrents completely dead. Something wrong in Cape Town?
Speedtest is fine.

Browsing and youtube is fine, just torrents are not doing anything. Even ones with loads of seeders. Oh well, at least youtube is working nicely.

Starting to pick up speed now.

Edit: Reached max speed at about 23:00.
