Anyone having issues with Gmail?
This is a very unique and tricky problem, hence the extended process. Our CC Team is confident that they're getting to the bottom of the issue, though!
Been having wonky p2p speeds for the past couple of nights.
Even on the Ubuntu test torrents that the AH reps requested to be tested.
One second full line speed (3.4 mbps) then the next it drops to 0.8 mbps. The torrents are also very slow in starting up.
See graph below. Time is in seconds.
P2p are fine during the day and usually starts this nonsense at about 7 pm and lasts until about midnight or so.

YouTube streams perfectly at 720p.
Google play store updates also jerky like the p2p.
Http download of ps4 update file is prefect.

So what gives?
Sadly, when there are signs of network capacity issues, p2p is the first to suffer.
IMO, yes, your network is hitting capacity (which is not a quick fix) between 19/20:00 and 22:00 and you are "shaping" business uncapped first after shaping home and premium already, before having to shape capped users next if load on said network hasn't subsided.
This is why it's tricky, tricky because "management" has not authorised you to mention the word "IPC capacity" yet.
I can add that I was experiencing the exact same issue on my Web Africa account. Between 7pm and 10pm speeds dropped down drastically. However on my free Afrihost account speeds were perfect, so I switched to Afrihost as my provider and no trouble since. Seeing as how both ISP's are suffering a similar issue but are not using the same network this information could help pinpoint where the common factor is.

no problems for me last night with Torrents etc, or general browsing. It was a bit slower than normal, but it was at an acceptable level. i did have a few disconnects though while streaming, but that was like twice.
but most of the complaints here isn't even p2p. It is NORMAL sites, like Facebook, gmail, twitter, pinterest and even iTunes. Really don't want to move away from AH as I have several packages with them, but seems like it might be time to jump ship.
We're narrowing down on the potential causes of the issues that you describe, and I'm confident that you won't have to endure these issues much longer.
i know off topic, but the Woolies Mall of Africa store has the Samsung gear Fit watch for R799.00 down from R3200 for anybody close by or interestedThey have about 4 units left
