Not cool to attack other members.
Let's keep things civil - everyone is welcome to post their feedback. Good or bad, let's just keep things civil please![]()
We're doing our best to provide he best possible experience to our clients now.
That experience can only improve going forward. Something we've stressed from the beginning of the POC setup.
No offense but that doesn't help me right now when we are not being compensated and we have unusable internet
Oh please, no one was attacked.
The way LaraC is shilling for Afrihost she should be getting a salary.
I do understand.
I can't pass compensation though, that's something that's up to management - and I'm sure they'll make a good decision around it. If you do want to log a dispute, you'll need to do so via our Accounts team.
I did, they suggesting I email Gian remember, like that will do anything
Did you mail the request to him?
What do I say ... hey bro, thanks for the crappy network how about some compensation ?
PM me his addy again and I will do it ... but yeah, honestly I would be surprised if I got a reply
Hi Afriguy,
Silent majority here: time's up.
Please can you outline your cancellation policy? i.e. If I cancel in October will I still be asked to pay in November?
Well Mr Afriguy it's now been 10 days or so that I've stayed on Afrigreen
General browsing has been better I must say, the 17:30 to 19:30 overload as was on the Afrihost.co.za is gone and quite a pleasure although I didn't mind as I avoided these times
However what I have noticed is that my p2p torrents have taken a nose dive on Afrigreen but we'll keep tabs on that lot.
Overall I'll accept Afrigreen for what it is but it's not as good as Afrihost.co.za was a year ago.
So instead of being a loyal Afrihost client, I will now be looking around.

As long as it's before the 25th, no.
You can also cancel now and change your mind later if they manage to get their network to work (POC will get IPC in cape town and the east).
Sorry to hear you're wanting to leave.
Not sure if you've been keeping up to date on the news around Afrigreen in general - but we're sending out comms within this week outlining a cut over to a new production network.
YGPM.
Thank you.
How would I go about "keeping up to date"?
Your network status page has not been updated since June. Every time I log a support request I am asked to switch from Green to Orange or back again. I can find no readily available information as to when the network will be fixed. (Do you know?) My patience is exhausted and it appears that the doubters were right about the MTN buy out.
I don't want to move but apart from "please be patient even longer" what choice does a client have?
Serious question.
