I didn't have any line connection. Was on LTE. Did have ADSL about 2 years ago though so I do have a line connected to the propertyI'm confused with all of this. Did everyone that is getting connected to the Naked ADSL side of things cancel their Telkom line rental first (which seems to take at least till the end of the month), and then wait for openserve to do the installation/reconfiguring of their line?
Behold! Post # 34 (not to be confused with Rule 34) is the enlightenment you seek.I'm confused with all of this.
I'm jealous you know someone, lucky guyI have to say, if I didn't have a friend who knew someone who works for Openserve my installation probably wouldn't happened today. Still waiting on the techie to call me but I thought it should be known that Openserve is not taking the 14 day rule serious at all

Same this side. It's funny how when I ordered I was giving it till next week, then the next, now here I am again, Thursday, giving it till the next. My standards have seriously droppedIf its not done by the end of the month im considering cancelling my order to be honest.. Cant be bothered as fibre is likely coming in 2 months anyways.. I'll just survive on using smoke signals until then![]()

Yes they pitched and it is sorted. Now I am waiting for Openserve to set the order as "Completed" so that Afrihost can send me my ADSL login details. Thanks, does make me feel like I should make a plan as I know someone who knows someone who knows someone
Out of curiosity, it's almost 11am. Did they pitch ?
Sorry to hear man.. Openserve is notorious for their lack of urgency and making excuses to justify bad levels of service delivery.Absolute nightmare trying to get Pure DSL from aifrhost.
I placed the order on 13 June, followed up religiously and was told very rudely each time to be patient and that they will process my order when they get to it.
Today I followed up again and found out that the request for Openserve to install was only put through on 23 June because Afrihosts portal was offline. Now I have to wait another 14 days to get assisted.
