I move to abolish Woman's Day and promote ISP Excellence Day in it's place :laugh: It's clearly been the spanner in the works.
It's annoying, but a small maybe 3 or 4 decimal point downtime/issue I have experienced since being with Afrihost fibre.
Thats beyond pretty good when comparing to my previous internet provider on the LTE network reliability stats.

Now we know the internet is a woman - refusing to work tonight and tomorrow ;)

Yah no complaints with AH - I was moaning about the pricing issue earlier in the year, but decided to shut up & stay put based on the excellent service. As we can see Afrinatic is on here at half 9 at night giving us feedback so we know what's up - few, if any can match that.
 
Was also receiving some subpar speeds just now with 500Mbps Openserve, so I tried out Cloudflare Warp+ Unlimited for both Mac and iPhone. It's hard to tell if the web is snappier because it was already snappy, but HTTP downloads are substantially faster outside of download managers now.

We had to re-enable Cogent as Liquid Telecoms are experiencing congestion on their Marseille <> London and Marseille <> Amsterdam legs. That said Cogent is struggling overall with capacity as some big content providers like Cloudflare uses Cogent for transit into JHB.

Any way you could change the CPT PPTP VPN to use an unaffected route to London for gaming?
 
Any issues with slow browsing/streaming Vuma Village Pineslopes/Lonehill?
Speed test shows normal speed but browsing slow, takes forever for images to load and streaming buffering a lot.

Try WARP. Worked for me with slow Mybb.
 
This is actually becoming a problem now. I can't even load web pages for work and even trying to respond here on MBB while connected to my fiber gives an "oops we ran into a problem" error:(

At least you can load pages I dont have a damn connection for more than 24 hours now
 
Is everyone dropping connection periodically? Like it drops for 5-8 seconds every ~30min.

same seems worse than yesterday dbn to jhb only started after 5pm
 
Yea im from South Coast KZN ping seems fine to Durban. But then Durban to JHB is a problem and onwards to Paris server for example 230 Ping instead of 185 Ping in overwatch.

I read that the WACS cable broke. But kzn uses Eassy cable so im assuming the issue is local and nothing is wrong with Eassy cable right?
