We had a ticket open with our upstream provider, and it should be resolved now.

180ms to london is quite high? yesterday was 170ms, i used to get 160ms. I thought the PPTP server had a static route to provide the best latency, but that is always the same as what i usually get.

Everything to EU (220 + ping) was bad except Frankfurt (160 ping)

@Afrigirl Has traffic been restored to WACS/SAT3 or are we still on failover links?
Hi.

Our Equiano route will remain the same; however, we may slowly reintroduce WASC. To make use of all our available capacity.

If anyone experiences changes for the worse, please let us know. You can provide a ping plotter or traceroute results, and we can talk with the team if we need to re-engineer our routes for the best interest of our clients.

What happened this evening?

Hi.
I am sorry you experienced high latency last night. Our changes to the ny.hosted routing may have affected the other routes. I will be re-opening the ticket with our upstream provider to have a look at the latency issues experienced in DBN.

Getting low speeds and buffering to youtube. Speedtest and ping to quad 8 looks clean. Anyone else having issues?

Thanks.

Yes latency has improved.

I see you dropped liquidtelecoms and back onto openserve.
Yes, we reverted the changes from yesterday. We will keep monitoring the issue until we can come up with a solution for all our clients.
