Whatever upgrade Google did last night had zero effect. In fact, Youtube buffering issues are starting earlier in the day now as compared with before.

Yes, maintenance update was done last night.
I will ask for the fault to be reopened with Google.

Yep. I’m up in JHB and getting frequent issues now on Vuma Trenched
 
I would say my Twitch has been also suffering buffering issues around the same time this started. Not sure if anyone else could confirm it
 
What about latency to Valorant EU servers? Seems to still be at 250 to London
 
Youtube now buffering on a Saturday morning. I'd go so far as to say the maintenance made things worse.

165.xxx => afrihostza-cpt2 (165.73.97.0/24)

Can you guys perhaps route to an international cache until the issue is resolved? It would probably perform better.

Getting consistent 200+ down but never more than 40 up.

I agree, shocking. Moved from CISP to Afrihost and I have to say, its worse :(

I moved from CISP to AH a while back too and am very happy with the decision. Youtube buffering is a relatively recent thing, and it's not under AH's control, it's a Google issue. You'll notice people having the same Youtube issues in the CISP thread too.
 
@Afrigirl . Adding that Youtube buffering is still an issue for me too. Vuma JHB.

YouTube for me as well down in Durban , 100/100 Vuma line , everything else works fine besides YouTube and sometimes prime

Tried smart tv sometimes drops to 720p and plays desktop PC and laptop also struggle all cabled

Edit : yes I am going through the Durban cache
