My sister is also struggling with lots of buffering on Youtube and streaming in general for a while now. She is on a 100Mbps line with Zoom fibre and Afrihost.

My Openserve/Afrihost is still going great.

The youtube buffering issue seem to have happened at random to me. Strange enough some videos play perfectly fine, while others would buffer for about 5min then be fine.

Good morning.
We apologise for the issue at hand.
We will be following up with Google Global Cache and will provide feedback during the course of the day.

Hello.
Please note that they are still investigating and will get back to us as soon as there is an update.

Well it's my turn it seems

What about latency to Valorant EU servers? Seems to still be at 250 to London

We are working on the issue. Just to give an update on what we are seeing.

We are receiving the Riot Games routes 162.249.72.0/24 from Saudi Telecoms provider at Nap JHB and because we learn these routes at a local IXP we favour them by default. This is unexpected for us as Saudi telecoms is merely a peer of Riot Games and not a transit provider. We logged it with Riot Games Peering and Noc team for clarity before we take any action in dropping this peer or engineering a way to not accept these routes from them.

Hi AfriNatic, thanks for the update, appreciate it, hopefully can be resolved soon :)

Hi There - how does one go about getting a public ip on our afrihost link? We used to be able to route into our local network from the public web, but unfortunately it looks like this is no longer possible.
