Afrihost - Pure Fibre Feedback Thread Part 2

Metrofibre seems down in Jeffreysbay. Multiple Facebook "tannies" posted, and my own as well.

Is Balwin undercutting their own package here, I know this is a BF deal but this is a HUGE difference to any other ISP package?

@Afrigirl @AfriNatic can you please check your DM's - since the 16th replacement of my OS pole my upload has been cycling between 10 and 200 all day every day, I have done all the tests, swapped all the hardware, connected to the ONT with speedtests (which I provided you a video of), they clearly screwed something up when they replaced the pole. They already had to come back to replace the main fibre link between my pole and the neighbours because that one was bent.
 
Slow internet connection again. WTF is going on why do I keep getting my upload and download speed stuck at 94 Mbps every week? Once you refresh your side it is fixed. What is causing this to keep happening? Must I downgrade to a slower speed?

I turned the power off on ONT for 10 minutes and still no difference fixed at 94 Mbps

It is only when something is done at Afrihost that fixes the speed stuck at 94 when it should be 200

I want to take up Bf vuma deal.

Currently I have raycore CPE that is not in use, which option to I select? Will cancel openserve with other provider.
 
It is fixed now but I had already tried turning off the ONT box for 10 minutes. It is only after you do something at Afrihost that it is fixed.

How can we stop this from keep happening over and over again?
 
@Afrigirl please can you assist with this order, AH6D592F4050BE do you know when the router will be delivered? The line is going to be terminated by the end of the month and I want to make sure the new tenant has his line ready please.
 
I think the Twitch relay is broken, I click go live and nothing happens, swap out to another local relay, click live and it immediately works.

The promo can be applied to migrate a line that has not had an active service in 30 days.

I have asked the Warehouse Team to pack and dispatch the router; I should get feedback by tomorrow.
 
Hi are there any issues, YouTube buffering and streaming via plex last night remotely kept buffering too

Yes if you read back the last 5 pages or so it is a recent and still ongoing issue and they are aware
 
YouTube on Apple TV pretty stuffed this morning. Buffering like crazy. But again on the less popular content I would assume.
