I'm not going the mtn route again, so afrihost will provision everthing even cheeseburgers if I need. Probably getting router + sim directly from them. I just can't wrestle them, mtn, dev-work, openserve, cisp and this heat at the same time.

Moving to a place that has Vuma reach. Hoping for a smooth fibre transition @Afrigirl but couldn't help to notice how flimsy those routers are... (1) is there a limit to how many devices can connect? (2) can I log into the router and change the DNS or Wi-Fi password?

Hello.
You can connect a maximum of 10 devices at a time. You can only change your WiFi password.
 
Thanks, Would be Nice if I can get connected before the weekend, but guess it is the waiting game now
 
How long is Vuma going to take to fix this Witkoppen fibre fault and why is it not listed on the Afrihost network outages? I have to use WebAfrica to see the outage.

Sorry, I didn't get a notification. OpenServe contacted me and the speed is back to normal; so I'd say it's resolved. Thank you for taking the time to help me. I truly appreciate it.

We do not have confirmation from Vuma of the outage or it has been resolved now.

It was never fixed and the service light is still off

I have a question.
The estate I live in, is locked to Vodacom. For around 2 years now I saw that AH got teh option to manage a Vodacom line. I never made the switch because well I never had any issues with Vodacom (amazing) and AH was a couple rands more expensive.

So my question, the new lower prices I see for Vodacom, is that a limited time thing, or is it there to stay? because going direct through Vodacom its still the price it always was.

Activation will be covered by sign-up promotion. You can sign up a week before the effective cancellation date with your ISP and downtime may be up to 48 hours.
 
anyone have DKWireless on zoom fibre SMTP server?
